An Italian winery paired up with a product design agency to create wine that comes with short stories

Nothing says relaxation more than reading with a glass of vino in hand. The Matteo Correggia winery is looking to provide both by partnering with design agency Reverse Innovation to create Librottiglia—wine bottles with short stories wrapped around them.

Each story is chosen specifically to pair with the wine and the bottle is half the size of a regular bottle so that is can be finished alongside the story itself. Wine lovers have a choice of three stories, including the fable, “The Frog in the Belly” for the Brachetto, a romance entitled “I Love You. Forget Me” for the Nebbiolo Roero, and a mystery called “The Murder” for the white Roero Arneis. The wines are €15 each, though the stories are only available in Italian at this time.
