Swedish Service Matches Commutes To Podcasts
Pendelpoddar helps people find an episode the length of their travel time for perfectly timed entertainment
For people who enjoy listening to podcasts on their commute, it can be frustrating to get to work in the middle of a particularly thrilling episode, or to finish ut midway without anything else to listen to. A new Swedish service Pendelpoddar now helps to solve that problem by matching a podcast to the length of a commute.
The service was developed by construction and civil engineering company PEAB and was designed to highlight just how close a new residential area, Nya Råsunda, is to various parts of Stockholm. The system is simple: all users have to do is input their origin, destination and how they will be traveling. The website will provide a list of podcast episodes from a number of series that best fit the travel time, all in Swedish of course.
