Volkswagen Showcases Their Vision Of Our Electrified Future
The automaker says they have created the Beetle of the 21st century
Late in 2016, Volkswagen is still facing massive financial penalties and lawsuits resulting from the diesel gate scandal. Fallout from the events haven't stopped the automaker from looking toward their future. At the 2016 Paris Motor Show, VW is showing the first concept in an entirely electric-powered line of new vehicles. The Volkswagen I.D. is a zero-emission, compact five door hatchback that offers a glimpse at the design direction the electrified line will adopt.
