Westfield World Trade Center, in combination with Tribeca Enterprises, offered a free VR arcade to its guests during the first three weekends of November

Tribeca Enterprises, the organization behind the Tribeca Film Festival, created a pop-up “arcade” in the Westfield World Trade Center (the mall below the new World Trade Center) for the viewing pleasure of tourists and New Yorkers alike.

Tribeca has seen a lot of curiosity stem from the entrance of VR into various industry sectors. Those who have never experienced VR want to know more about it and early adopters of the tech can’t seem to get enough. There are more still who won’t adopt the technology yet because they don’t quite understand it. To appease the different attitudes about VR, Tribeca is offering an entirely free VR arcade with the intent to bring VR knowledge and experiences to a more mainstream audience.
