This past month the brand released an influencer chatbot marketing program that is using the teen-focused messaging app Kik as the medium for their audience to have conversations with a chatbot version of influencer celebrity Kalani Hilliker. The CoverGirl chatbot was created by influencer marketing platform The Amplify and chatbot developer Automat. The chatbot modelled after Hilliker, a 16-year-old American dancer, model and TV personality, has already resulted in 14 times more conversations than with an average Hilliker post.
