The service is now offering special playlists depending on where you are, what you might be doing, and even what the weather is like

As Google Play Music attempts to catch up with Apple Music and Spotify, it has added several new features. The latest feature is meant to provide playlists perfectly suited for where you are and what you are doing.

If you don't mind Google knowing exactly what's happening in your life at every point of the day, then the playlist will monitor your activity and respond accordingly. If you're at the gym, it could choose a playlist of upbeat workout tunes, or if you are at work, it might play music to help you concentrate. The playlist even changes depending on your local weather. However, those who feel uncomfortable sharing all that information need not worry as one has to opt-in to the service.
