The app partnered with photographer Matt Lambert to show affectionate moments with men and their partners in places they felt safe

Looking to explore safe spaces both in the virtual and physical sense, Grindr, the popular dating application for gay men, has published a photography book called Home by Matt Lambert. These photographs explore casual intimacy between young gay men in their private time together. Following the Orlando massacre and the US Presidential Election of 2016, the app company felt it was a good time to create this book to support LGBTQ individuals and their rights.

Lambert traveled to Toronto, Paris, London, Prague, New York, Los Angeles and Berlin to acquire these diverse pictures to fill up the 102-page book. Couples were reached out through social media and other digital formats to gain their permission to create these photographs.
