Hyatt Honors Travelers With A 3D-Printed Statue Contest
The hospitality wanted to celebrate the people who go everywhere for work and make sure their tasks were not forgotten
The owners of hotel chain Hyatt Place, and their extended stay branch, Hyatt House, held a contest where participants submitted stories about traveling to work and winners received 3D-printed statues of themselves.
Travelers' stories and hashtags were posted on the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Facebook pages and entries were accepted until October 25, 2016.
The company had a special 3D printed statue made of the 30 winners, wearing togas and laurels, along with carrying a suitcase and smartphone. What's more, the winners also received a free two-night stay at any Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotel of their choice in the United States.
