Pantone’s Color Of The Year Promotes The Concept Of Biophilia
The selection aims to leverage neuroscience to offset negative political emotions and boost our productivity
PANTONE’s PANTONE Color of the Year selection for 2017 is a beautiful shade of green appropriately named Greenery. The fresh and zesty yellow-green shade aims to evoke memories of the first days of spring when nature comes alive again and things bloom.
According to Pantone’s Color Institute:
“Greenery symbolizes the re-connection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose amid a complex social and political landscape. As people become more submerged in their own modern realities, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world.”
