The miniature device attaches to the side of an appliance or switch to enable remote control through a person's phone

The Switch Bot is a small home robot that can be attached to the side of lights, coffee pots, washing machines or TVs and turned on or off through the convenience of a smartphone.

Attaching to devices with mounting tape and syncing to the smartphones through a WiFi or Bluetooth connection, the Switch Bots link to each other, staying in range of the smartphone even if they are beyond the signal.

The application allows users to create If This Then That (IFTTT) recipes, for example, setting up the bots so when a user walks into a room, a light gets turned on or switch a coffee pot off when an alarm goes off on a smartphone.
