Sick of mundane stationary workouts where you pound a cross trainer for 30 minutes but don’t actually get anywhere? Thanks to a fitness boat called the Paris Navigating Gym, you’ll be able to power your own boat trip along the Seine River using the energy of your workout. The floating gym vessel was designed by Carlo Ratti Associati, an international design and innovation studio based in Torino, Italy.

20 meters in length and holding up to 45 people, the boat is surrounded by transparent glass with augmented reality screens encased inside. That way passengers can view the sights along the Seine while also observing the quantity of energy they produce as they work out.
