The famous Italian cuisine brand Eataly is expanding to open a park where it will grow and cook its own food

For those who love quality Italian cuisine and products, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich's famous combination store and restaurant Eataly is a foodie haven. Now Bataly is taking it one step further by creating an entire theme park dedicated to excellent food.

FICO Eataly World is a cuisine-themed theme park dedicated to those who enjoy eating and learning about food. It will open in Bologna, Italy in September of 2017, and will be run by creator and founder of Eataly, Oscar Farinetti, and his son, CEO of Eataly, Nicola Farinetti. The park will be 20 acres in size, with 40 workshops, 25 restaurants, as well as orchard, gardens, and pastures for the farm animals. The park will have its own livestock as well as vegetables and fruit grown on site. $106 million are being put into the park's development, so hopefully it'll be just as renowned as the store that came before it.
