Zagat’s Cafe Offers Tiny Replicas Of Classic NYC Dishes

The restaurant rating service created buzz for its new guide and app by opening a tiny food cafe

Strange food trends have captured our culinary imagination, but tiny food is almost more about presentation than it is about taste. Zagat is looking to use the current love of miniature dishes to advertise the 2017 New York City Restaurant Guide Book in the most ingenious way: creating a mini pop-up restaurant. The Zagat Cafe, kwown as Tiny Cafe, opened in Astor Place on October 27, and stayed  running until Oct 29, and offered free versions of some of New York City’s best offerings to those willing to brave the fall weather.
