Bellus3D is a high-quality yet affordable face-scanning camera for mobile devices

Silicon Valley startup Bellus3D has developed a high-quality, affordable face-scanning camera for mobile devices, which it debuted during CES 2017. The Bellus3D Face Camera is easy to use and designed for self-scanning.

It can be attached to a smartphone or tablet, and scans the user's face as they turn their head from left to right. Measuring up to 500K 3D face points, it creates a high-resolution and accurate model in seconds. These could be used for various applications, such as digital makeup, virtual eyewear try-on, facial surgery, game character customization, and face recognition security. The 3D face Camera and its Android SDK will be made available in limited quantities to third-party developers for creating their own applications in early 2017.
