Fitness Trackers Are Shrinking Down To The Size Of A Ring
Motiv Ring gathers a wide range of data in a small, lightweight form for comprehensive activity logging without the cumbersome wrist-strap
If you had the choice to work out with a fitness tracker in the form of a suffocating wrist band or a lightweight ring, which would you choose? Motiv Ring FTW, providing all the fitness information a user could want in a compact, stylish ring.
This titanium ring contains three sensors: an optical heart rate sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer and a smart LED sensor to calculate heart rate, calories burned and more, all logged in a smart phone app. Coming in slate gray or rose gold, it is made in seven sizes, is waterproof and has a battery that lasts between three and five days. Currently available for pre-order for $199, the ring will ship with iOS compatibility in the spring of 2017, with Android compatibility arriving sometime in the summer.
