Ford Finds A Novel Way To Advertise Its Mustang By Putting The Car On Tinder

The dating service featured the vehicle as a potential match and hosted five couples on a blind date that took place inside Mustang's newest release

A first date usually provides enough banter, interaction and chemistry to determine if a couple will continue to see each other, or if they’re better off parting ways. Which means the pressure is on to make a great first impression. And blind dates only add to the stress. To help ease the anxiety of a blind date, Ford held a campaign on Tinder that had 10 users matching with the company’s latest Mustang model. Once five couples were chosen, they went on a Cupid-assisted ride that would be at least memorable.

Each of our blind dates met inside the interior of a new Mustang and were provided with directions to a retro drive-in movie. On the way, they were quizzed through the car’s radio by Jarred Christmas, a comedian from New Zealand who does work in the United Kingdom and who is knowing for being able to ‘roll with the punches,’ which made him particularly suited to assist in the world of high-stakes that are first dates.
