To get users excited for the release of Halo Wars 2, Microsoft Xbox launched a social media strategy game that lives on Twitter for fans to play. Users battle against Isabel, one of the characters of the game, who is an artificial intelligence program. On Twitter, she naturally makes an appearance as an automated bot.

To play, users head to Twitter and search ‘Isabel UNSC Log,’ orcan  find her under the Twitter handle @ISA1307_2. On her feed users tap on one of her latest tweets to enter a private message exchange with the bot. A battle happens against Isabel in a rock-paper-scissors exchange using digital cards based off of units used in Halo Wars 2.

When a user beats Isabel, the bot provides them with a code for an exclusive skin they can redeem once the game launches. Those who have a registered Twitter account can fight Isabel now. Halo Wars 2 releases Feb 21, 2017 on PC and Xbox One.
