Instead of throwing out all of the boxes from holiday purchases, a new campaign lets people use them to give charitable gifts

What better way to kick off 2017 than by donating to charity? The Give Back Box is helping customers keep their charitable New Year’s resolutions by getting customers to recycle unused boxes they’ve accumulated from holiday shopping and fill them with donations such as clothing, housewares or toys. All they have to do is print a free label from their website, package the box and drop it at either UPS or the postal service and all of the items will be sent to GoodWill. There is no weight limit and people can even get a tax receipt if they register online. Other brands taking part in this program include Amazon, Overstock, Bonobos, Rei Co-op, Newegg, Loft, ASICS, Ann Taylor, and Loft, among others.
