Using an algorithm, Teleport uses images of a city and cross-references a person's preferences to determine if they would like to live there

Teleport, a technology startup with team members all over the world, has created an artificial intelligence designed to assist users exploring new cities to move to by browsing through images on Google Street View.

A user picks a city they'd potentially like to live in, and then the AI goes to work. The program grabs 10,000 different data points from throughout the city and the images at those locations from Google Map. The AI describes in a short sentence what is featured in the image. The short sentences get processed by the AI to determine the most common phrases from the 10,000 data points to then compare with a user's preferences for a city they'd like to move to and what they're looking for.

Users can download Teleport now through the Google Play and Apple store for free.
