BBC’s Planet Earth series is one of the most acclaimed documentaries ever produced, and now, it’s looking to reach a new and younger audience. Six modified episodes of the show will now appear on Snapchat, using “binaural recording,” a dual-microphone setup that’s meant to imitate 3D stereo sound to add to the show’s new platform.

The show will also have a special Snapcode that will give viewers access to the teaser trailer, the previous episode if you missed one and the option to subscribe ahead of the show’s release. The show will begin on February 18 for U.S. and Canadian audiences, and if all goes to plan, it will prove that premium television content can do well on the ever-evolving social platform.
