San Francisco-based Apis Cor is able to fabricate concrete walls for modestly sized homes in under 24 hours

3D printing start up in San Francisco, Apis Cor might just be changing the construction game with their new printer. The company is able to print concrete walls for modestly sized homes in under 24 hours. The best part? It's a lot cheaper than traditional building costs.

They've already tested it out Russia's Moscow region, printing and assembling a 400-square-foot house. The whole house was built in about a day, “Printing of self-bearing walls, partitions and building envelope were done in less than a day: pure machine time of printing amounted to 24 hours,” reads the project blog.

The huge printer has to be transported to and from desired location using a crane. Apis Cor says that although the Russian house was of an unusual design, the printer has no design limitations and can manufacture traditional square homes as well.
