WOHA architects created a green highrise in the central business district

Singapore-based architecture firm WOHA has created a “living tower” in the central business district. Oasia Hotel Downtown features a series of offices, hotel and club rooms, each with its own sky garden. Layers of elevated ground levels enabled the architects to multiply the limited ground floor space and create generous public areas for recreation and social interaction throughout the highrise.

The tower's red aluminum mesh cladding was designed as a backdrop, revealing itself between the green of 21 different species of creepers. Instead of a flat roof, the skyscraper has a tropical bower that is floral, diverse, and alive. You can check out the Oasia Hotel Downtown in the video below:
