Capital One has created Eno, an AI that communicates to customers through text messages about their account and can understand emojis

Sick of waiting in long lines at the bank? Capital One has you covered. The bank has rolled out a chat bot called Eno that enables users to receive updates about their account via text message. Eno was unveiled at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 10.

Eno uses AI to understand a user's SMS and can inform users about their account balances, recent transactions, credit card bill due dates, credit limits and their banking history. The program can also understand an emoji, for example, if a user sends a cash bag emoji, it will send additional information about the user's account.

Capital One made Eno free to use, however, there's a waiting period. Those who have access to Eno will get notified by the program through a welcome text message.
