This bedside lamp simulates the moon floating in the night sky

For those obsessed with glow-in-the-dark star and moon stickers growing up, there is now an excellent upgrade option for your adult home. Hong Kong designed studio Coocepts has created a levitating moon light. The orb looks exactly like how the actual moon looks in the night sky, bright and serene.

The lamp charges wirelessly and also glows either a warm yellow or a pale white color, pending on the user’s preference. The light is able to ‘float’ due to strong Neodymium magnets that keep the moon light stable. The moon itself consists of 1440 layers of PLA and each one takes over 24 hours to create.

Currently, the team is looking for more backing on Kickstarter to ensure their project has the funds to be completed.
