Comic Relief is combining fun with philanthropy with their new Red Nose Day Campaign that centers around their virtual swear jar app

A digital swear jar lets you donate 20p (25 cents) for every curse word you say—and proceeds go to people in need across Africa and the U.K. The British charity, Comic Relief is combining fun with philanthropy with their new Red Nose Day Campaign that centers around the virtual swear jar application. Users who download the app can choose how much they want to donate in the beginning and then start swearing!

For 10 minutes (or less if you want), the swear jar uses Google Voice recognition technology to tally up how many bad words you said and takes 20p out of your pot for each one.

The donations will specifically aid Comic Relief projects on: immunization, mental health, education, domestic violence and fighting malaria.

The app can be downloaded in iPhone or Android.
