Olli shows photographers how their shots will look as animated comics and paintings

Olli, a new photo app from software company Tinrocket, allows everyday photographers to transform their pictures to resemble handmade artworks. While it may sound similar to popular apps like Prisma, Olli lets users preview how their photos will look with the filters—before they’ve even snapped the shot.

The app, which costs $2.99 on iTunes, can also be used for video. Short clips can be converted to gifs and easily posted to Instagram or other platforms. Olli offers a range of artistic styles from which users can choose. One filter, for example, makes photos look like illustrations from a comic book.
