The tech giant created a new design for pizza boxes to ensure the container doesn't fill up with steam

Apple got bored of the traditional square pizza box and decided to issue a patent of a redesigned circular one to ensure the pizza doesn’t get soggy while inside the container.

The new circular structure has eight holes allowing steam to escape while the food cools off. The top and bottom inside the new box was designed for the pizza to remain lifted by small ridges, preventing either surface from soaking into the container before consumption. The idea was conceived in partnership with the head of Apple’s Park Café, the technology company’s new campus, with the intent of allowing Apple employees to return to their cubicle with their leftovers.
