E-Bike Is Specifically Designed For The Trials Of Tokyo Commutes
VanMoof's Electrified X has integrated smart tech, a keyless lock and a powerful motor
Amsterdam-based bicycle tech company VanMoof has designed an e-bike to overcome the challenges commuters face in Tokyo. The Electrified X features a compact and lightweight design. Its powerful motor allows a maximum speed of about 22 miles per hour with a battery range of 75 miles.
The electric bike has integrated smart technology, including a keyless lock that opens by fingerprint on its touchscreen interface and anti-theft features, which are fitted within the frame along with the lights and battery. The Electrified X will launch exclusively in Japan this month before it goes global in 2018.
