These colorful spoke guards help express the person's personality, just like their fashion choices, which each costing €99—139 each (or $110—$152) and attached to the wheel with Velcro straps.

Ailbhe Keane, founder of Izzy Wheels, tells TechCrunch that the inspiration for these bright and fun cover are meant to help take away some of the negative connotations around using a wheelchair:

“The problem is wheelchairs have looked the same for 100 years. People have negative connotations with wheelchairs and associate them with sick or elderly people. A wheelchair can cost up to €10,000 and none of this goes towards the appearance of your chair. We want to give one of the world’s most underserved community of people the freedom to express themselves… Self expression is a right.”
