Travelers in the Hyperloop Hotel could zoom through the Hyperloop to 13 different cities in the U.S. without having to leave their rooms

With advances in transportation technology, it’s no longer a question of can you get there, but how you will get there and where you will stay when you arrive. Brandan Siebrecht, a graduate architecture student from the University of Nevada, reviewed Elon Musk’s Hyperloop—a pod system designed to transport people to between locations in seconds—and created the concept of the Hyperloop Hotel to combine the experiences of travel and lodging.

Instead of a passenger leaving their room to travel, the room goes into the Hyperloop to transport them throughout the country. Passengers purchase their tickets for the trip to 13 different cities throughout the U.S., taking the same room with them to each one. The full experience would cost $1,200 for one passenger.

The Hyperloop Hotel remains a concept, however, Siebrecht foresees the construction of these hotels happening within five to 10 years.
