Cut-Out Book Lets You Build Your Own Russian Constructivist Playground
Design studio Zupagrafika created a book for readers to take an interactive tour of the Russian architectural concept of constructivism
Zupagrafika, a creative design studio based in Poland, designed a cut-out book around Russian constructivist architecture—a geometric architectural style that began in the 20th century in Russia. The book was imagined as an interactive learning experience for children and parents.
The book takes readers into the perspective of a constructivist architect, focusing on different forms, colors and spatial imagination for building designs. The Constructivist comes with four pop-up buildings that readers can remove from the book and build by following the instructions. The models do not require additional supplies to construct.
The Constructivist is available for purchase on Zupagrafika’s website.
