Two companies teamed up to make it affordable for small businesses to quickly make a Facebook chatbot program to assist their customers

Chatbots can make it easier for businesses to assist customers in making their online transactions quicker, however, typically only larger companies with the budget and resources can afford to maintain these programs. Ad agency R/GA and New York-based chatbot development startup Replay.ai teamed up to make it affordable for smaller businesses to use these tools through a new platform called BotBot.

Any small business can sign up on the new platform, creating their optimal Facebook chatbot through a straightforward chat interface. The small business can choose from three different templates: an Ask Bot for answering FAQs, a Fitness Bot for booking classes, or a Food Bot for restaurant delivery orders. The bot is slated to launch on the business' Facebook page where customers will be able to freely interact with it at their leisure.
