In Brief

A new partnership will see the development of made-for-Snap dramas and comedies over the next two years

Time Warner and Snap have partnered to develop a number of made-for-Snapchat shows over the next two years, which will include various genres such as scripted drama and comedy.

Time Warner hopes that showcasing its iconic brands and personalities in engaging videos on Snapchat will increase its exposure to a desirable and growing audience. This partnership will boost the number of shows on Snapchat, which currently only airs about one show per day. By the end of the year, Snap expects to air three shows per day and introduce additional formats.
