Twitch streamers now have the opportunity to learn how to acquire more followers and build a career outside of broadcasting online

People who stream on Twitch don’t normally receive any official training before they start a channel. They win viewers through their personalities and their ability to stand out among thousands of other streamers.

To help out those who may not know where to start, Twitch is offering workshops that users can take to hone their skills as a host and entertain an audience. The workshops also emphasize that streamers shouldn’t feel that they have to broadcast all the time in order to gain followers, instead having them work on talents that could get them jobs outside of online streaming.

The workshops are set to start in July, when select up-and-coming streamers will be selected to attend these events in San Francisco.
