A German technology company wants to lower air pollution in cities with a green wall that provides fresh air in urban areas

Green City Solution, a German technology company striving to lower air pollution in cities, is bringing forests into the city with their 12-foot-high green wall with the cleansing effect of 275 trees dubbed CityTree.

The vertical green wall runs on solar panels to keep the water and nutrients flowing to all of the plants from an internal tank, a system requiring only a few hours of maintenance each year. To keep the plants prepared for all weather conditions, the system contains numerous environmental sensors to automatically adjust internal settings. For recreational purposes, the CityTree even comes with a digital information display that advertisers can rent out, benches, a Wi-Fi system, and an electrical bike charging station.
