Oscar-winning French director Michel Gondry created a short film called ‘Detour’ using only Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus.

The film tells the story of a tricycle that gets separated from its child owner when the family goes off on a vacation. The tricycle attempts to find the family, traveling through various incidents southern France. Throughout the journey Gondry pays homage to various classic French cinema icons, such as Jaques Tati and Albert Lamorisse, while showing off the numerous features of the iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple posted the 10-minute film on the homepage of its UK website, along with six videos showing viewers different filming techniques they can achieve with an iPhone 7.
