A Sea King helicopter has been repurposed for luxurious overnight accommodations

Helicopter Glamping in Stirling, Scotland lets you stay the night in a renovated Sea King helicopter. The decommissioned helicopter was bought in an online MOD auction last year, and the exterior was restored to its former glory.

Inside, this luxury overnight accommodation sleeps a family of five (two adults and three children). Many of its original features have been retained, including the dashboard, roof panel switches and foot pedals. The flight deck has been refitted with swivel seats and a table made from an old fuel tank cover, and there is a bed nook in the tail, a mini-kitchen, shower room and a spectacular cockpit seating area with panoramic views over the Carse of Stirling.
