Ten Fold Technology's self-deployable house takes 10 minutes to unfold and can even settle on uneven terrain

Ten Fold Technology, a technology company based in the United Kingdom, has developed a self-deployable structure, which only requires that someone use a battery-powered drill to complete installation.

The 689-square foot structure was created with the development of a counter-balancing system that holds all of the sections together, allowing the entire building to unfurl in 10 minutes and settle regardless of uneven terrain. A homeowner can modify the internal walls to personalize the house. When a homeowner wishes to move, they can store a small amount of their valuables inside of the structure before having it returned to its folded position and relocating it. In the future, Ten Fold Technology plans to attach solar panels to the structures for those who wish to live further off the grid.

Ten Fold Technology priced these homes at £100,000, or $129,000.
