Royal Mail is testing nine new electric trucks in its delivery fleet

Nine new electric trucks made by electric truck company Arrival will be used by British postal service Royal Mail. The sleek trucks come in three sizes: 3.5 tons, six tons and 7.5 tons.

Branded in red for Royal Mail, the box-like trucks feature wide front and side windows to provide optimal vision for the driver. All of the models can travel for 100 miles on a single charge. The mail service plans to keep these nine vehicles from delivering mail directly to customers for the time being and has enlisted them to carry mail between distribution centers.

Royal Mail did not announce when it intends to introduce these trucks into their overall fleet and when the public can expect to see more of them.
