Katrina Steven, a graduate design student at the University of Dundee, wants to arm children with the knowledge of proper health and nutrition. What better way to teach the young generation about eating right than by helping them prepare meals with Safe Slice.

Safe Slice is a kit of child-friendly kitchenware that will help the kids prepare meals together with the family. Not only does this get the kids involved in food preparation and basic cooking, this will also teach them about the right food portions to prep and eat. The kit includes a knife, chopping board and cutting domes.

Steven wants to help fight the rapid incline of child obesity. Through Safe Slice, kids become more aware, which in itself, is already winning half of the battle.
