FrontRow is a camera that lets you record moments as you experience them without filming them on your phone

Ubiquiti Networks has announced a new camera technology that enables people to effortlessly capture and share their experiences. FrontRow is a camera in a necklace that operates autonomously, allowing the wearer to record their surroundings while staying in the moment. It has a subtle interlocking connector, providing the flexibility to be worn using the included lanyard or multi-purpose magnetic clip, or with another chain.

FrontRow features cameras on both sides of the device, and the primary camera captures a 140 degree. An array of microphones records sound. There is also a speaker for local playback and an easy-access clickable media button for quickly starting and stopping FrontRow’s capture functions.

FrontRow has a standby time of up to 48 hours. It is capable of capturing in Story Mode (for a time-lapse capture of experiences) for up to 16 hours and in Live-Streaming Mode for up to 2 hours. The device has a USB Type-C connector for charging on the go, with a quick-charge time of around 20 minutes.

FrontRow’s user interface allows instant live streaming on social networks and integration with various apps like Dropbox, Spotify and more. It can connect to smartphones running the FrontRow app via Bluetooth to transfer media. The device can also be accessed remotely using the web UI controller on FrontRow’s website.
