Adidas hosted a pop-up event that invited creative individuals from various backgrounds to give workshops and talks

In August, Adidas announced the opening of its EQT Creator Studio, a pop-up studio in London where creators were to host talks and workshops to celebrate the concept of ‘Essentialism.’ These discussions focused on the creativity that goes into music, art and individual style, including the sneakers a person wears. Notable guests speakers included Kojey Radical, GRM Daily, Steph Morris, King Cook, Giggs and Jamie XX. The event took place over a seven-day period beginning on August 18.

Jamie XX, an English record producer and DJ, started off the event with a live performance. He was followed by a surprise performance from the rapper Giggs, who joined Jamie on stage. After the concert, the rest of the event focused on workshops in which creators discussed their art and sources of inspiration.

On the final day Nick Knight, the founder of SHOWstudio, and Peter Saville, who co-founded Factory Records in 1978, sat down in a packed room to discuss creativity and inspiration. Drawing from their decades of experience, they shared their insights into current, and past, aspects of the creative industry.

Following the event, Adidas made a new EQT collection available for purchase on its website.
