The retailer is offering a $20 discount to consumers who show off their scars

Australian surf and skate company Ozmosis is offering customers a unique way to pay for their merchandise: show off their scars, scrapes and bruises. Through a campaign developed with Sydney-based creative agency Ugly, Ozmosis is giving buyers a $20 discount for displaying their injuries.

To get the discount, online shoppers need to upload a photo of their scar or bruise to Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #PayWithPain, while in-store shoppers can simply show their injuries at check-out.

Ozmosis has attached a caveat to the campaign warning customers not to injure themselves deliberately to obtain a few dollars off their purchase.
