Bud Light created glasses for New England Patriots fans to drink from that light up whenever the Patriots score a touchdown during the game

Bud Light wanted to make the opening game between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs special by giving fans at Gillette Stadium a unique beer glass called the Bud Light Touchdown Glass. The glass comes with a light on the bottom that glowed blue whenever the Patriots scored a touchdown at the game.

The LEDs are activated by a radio frequency traveling throughout the stadium. Football fans interested in scoring these beer glasses for the Patriots, or six other football teams, can purchase them from Bud Light's website. Instead of a radio frequency, glasses purchased online rely on a mobile app that monitors the game. One glass costs $17.99.

If this campaign succeeds, Bug Light plans to reach out to other football teams to create partnerships for additional LED glasses.
