Nike celebrated the recent contract signing of Kylian Mbappé by holding a festival on the soccer field he played on as a child

Kylian Mbappé recently got transferred to the Paris Saint-Germain football team with the signing of a record-breaking contract of €180 million. Nike wanted to celebrate this significant occasion by returning to Mbappé's hometown of Bondy, France, to give new life to the field on which he grew up playing.

Nike hosted an event called ‘Play Bondy Football Festival'—a soccer tournament for local players of all ages with a concert by French rapper Niska. The field's fresh look was created by French architecture firm Laisné Roussel and Midori Hasuike, who drew inspiration from the surrounding forest for the new design. A fresco featuring Kylian Mbappé was unveiled at the end of the festivities.
