Peugeot designed a phone booth in London to work as a car dealership for customers to try out the company's online ordering program

Want to visit a car dealership without having to wait on other customers or feel the pressure of a pushy car dealer? French automaker Peugeot created a phone booth where customers can view the company’s vehicle options and make a customized model of their own.

Inside of the phone booth customers have access to a tablet connected to Peugeot’s online ordering platform. The platform allows customers to browse the company’s vehicle selections and customize a model with the accessories they want to add to it. Should a customer find one they like, they do have to visit a Peugeot dealership to give the vehicle a test drive to see if they wish to finalize the deal. If they do, they can return to the tablet or the online platform from their home to complete the transaction.

Peugeot placed the phone booth in London’s Russell Square and opens on September 12. Customers can only access it if they have an access code, which they can grab from the Peugeot Russell Square website.
