Trying to figure out the best time to eat a meal at a popular restaurant is an annoying experience. Google wants to make it easier to plan these outings by providing the restaurant wait times for a million restaurants around the world through Google Maps and the Google search engine. Hopefully, it will be available soon.

Anyone can access this tool by searching for a specific restaurant then clicking on a Popular Times section to see the estimated wait in real time. Users even have the option to plan earlier, using the bar graph to see what the estimated time might be. It includes information on how long people stay at the restaurant on average and how long people wait during busy meal times. This information is based on historical data that Google collected.
