A new membership program for the Nike app gives subscribers access to exclusive perks

In an update to its app, Nike unveiled NikePlus Unlocks, a new membership program that upgrades a user’s experience on the platform. The feature quickly understands what a user’s preferences are and can tailor the whole experience. The Nike app is able to collect information based on the user’s purchase history, activities and feedback.

NikePlus app users can be connected to an expert before purchasing an item to help them find something specific or figure out which shoes are best for an activity or budget. It also allows users to make an appointment with an expert in person to offer guidance in these  decisions.

NikePlus Unlocks also allows premium members to purchase specific products that are not available to everyone. This includes the newest, innovative products from collaborations, which can personalized. For example, a user can customize the new Nike ACG Mowabb ID by choosing specific colors or adding the logos of favorite sports teams, an option that is unavailable for non-members.

Utilizing all the information that the app collects, Nike also will reserve specific products before their public releases for members. Fans will get earlier access to products and exclusive invitations to members-only shopping events.

Overall, these new features aim to create a better, highly personalized experience for any loyal Nike fan. Members can also benefit from same-day delivery and even have access to priority checkouts at certain Nike Factory stores.
