In Brief

A brewery in the UK created an advent calendar from an unused building to include humorous messages about the holidays

The  countdown to Christmas is on! With T-minus 19 days remaining, many love to celebrate with advent calendars. UK-based Banks Brewery decided to make its own advent calendar on the walls of an unused building located in Wolverhampton. Every day, it unveils what lies behind the the numbers positioned on the building’s windows to reveal a Christmas-themed artwork featuring a message about the holidays. The messages and pictures were made with a sense a humor, such as a sad snowman with a yellow stain on its side. All of the windows face a nearby street, making it difficult for someone to miss as they walk or drive by.

Banks Brewery’s motivation behind the advent calendar was to reach out to a younger audience and introduce them to the brand’s beverage.
