Drawing inspiration from Slack, a new app makes it easy to collaborate on beautiful presentation decks

Drawing inspiration from the messaging platform Slack, Paste is a new take on creating beautiful decks. Developed by FiftyThree, the presentation tool encourages collaboration but also gives people the space to create something unique. Available for iOS, the app aims to give a design upgrade to the way people iterate and present ideas.

The platform was created for use by what Paste refers to as “modern teams”—basically those who are constantly working with an array of new technology that includes mobile and other innovative apps. Paste turns anything dropped into the platform into a slide, whether it be an image or a Google Doc. The app can also detect color, making it easier to add design elements, and automatically creates a layout for whatever is dropped in. Just like other presentation tools, it lets users see a birds-eye view. It lets users add collaborators and download a high-resolution PDF. Paste also works with Paper, FiftyThree's immersive drawing app.

Paste integrates with Slack so team members can make additions and comments on each slide. It constantly syncs everyone's work, making it easy for teams to complete projects even when there is a time crunch.
